Toshiba Electronics has launched three high-brightness, miniature LEDs that are designed to provide high-efficiency solid-state solutions.
These can be used in a range of industrial, residential and commercial lighting solutions and have many benefits.
The technology is designed to ensure a low thermal resistance, the company claims, which allows for improved heat dissipation characteristics to simplify thermal management in the target lighting design.
Furthermore, the new LEDs have a drive current of 350mA and deliver typical luminous flux ratings of 90, 75 or 100 lumens, depending on which of the three products is being used.
"As a result they offer high-efficiency, high-reliability alternatives to incandescent, fluorescent and halogen bulb technologies in general lighting designs," the firm states.
The three LEDs are called the TL12W03-D white, TL12W03-L warm-white and TL12W03-N neutral-white.
