Binder USA has launched a new and improved version of its M12 stainless steel connectors.
Featuring a robust stainless steel housing to protect the device from corrosive materials and fluids, they are most suited for use in the food and beverage industry, chemical plants and process automation.
According to the manufacturers, the upgraded connectors also offer increased environmental protection and include larger cable outlets.
They are also available with A-, B- and D-coding, plus four to eight gold-plated contacts.
"Cable seals consist of high-grade Viton" while "cable clamps are made of Teflon providing an IP69K-rated environmental protection", Binder USA adds.
The cable outlets range from three to 8.6 mm in diameter and the new connectors are part of the firm's Series 713, 715 and 825.
Binder USA is not the only firm to be introducing new connectors at the moment, as Omnetics recently launched its new OmneMed line, which features a 'nest' of gold-plated wires to improve electrical interface.
