A new high frequency connector has been introduced by Yamaichi Electronics.
The new HF201 series, which has either a one or two-plug connector, features small outer dimensions which make it ideal for use in antennas, sensors or audio systems.
Solder mounted on the PCB, the plug connector features one inner and one outer contact inside the insulating body, both of which are crimped to the coax cable.
The new system is also suited for use in high frequency applications and certain coaxial cables.
"A locking between plug connector and jack ensures the best transmission characteristics also when exposed to shock and vibration stress, e.g. in vehicles. The extraction force goes up to 40N," Yamaichi Electronics continues.
This is not the only firm that has been expanding its range of connectors, as Binder USA recently announced that a new and improved version of its M12 stainless steal devices is being launched.
