A global manufacturer of computer mainboards and graphics cards is confident that capacitors incorporated into its latest offering will help it last longer.
MSI unveiled its new 87OA-G54 mainboard by boasting that it is a "complete platform" for customers wanting the best in audio and visual performance, thanks to its "military class" components, which are certified by the US Department of Defense.
The company claims that its parts, including highly-conductive polymer capacitors, solid capacitors and "Icy Chokes", which are low-temperature inductors, "fully enhance product lifespan, heat resistance and stability".
It also features core technology that, it is claimed, can increase the performance of the central processing unit by 104 per cent, as well as offering fast data transfer speeds.
MSI operates manufacturing and distribution facilities in 22 countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
It expects to make more than 20 million units, according to the firm's latest figures.
