A global manufacturer of advanced detection sensors has been given an award for the significant impact of its innovation.
MS Tech, whose biggest base is in the Chinese city of Shanghai, picked up the 2010 Global Detection Sensors Technology Innovation Award from consulting firm Frost and Sullivan.
It was commended for its "proven ability" to develop novel technologies and integrated solutions in the sector.
The company's chief executive Doron Shalom said that MS Tech was proud to pick up the award as it looks to establish its sensor research and development centre and stated that the organisation is currently focusing on the food safety and public health sector.
"Our green and safe sensor technologies and integrated detection solutions address the current technology gaps in the food and beverages inspection sector," he added.
Mr Shalom revealed that the company is aiming to capture a substantial share of the market, including the food inspection activities of regional and national governments.
