JDSU has incorporated new optical transport Network capabilities to its 100GE test suite.
The firm's optoelectronics 100GE offering enables its test suite to be of use to companies looking to upgrade their network capabilities in the future.
It comes with a full complement of aggregation points, ensuring interoperability with different network types is standard.
"With the rapid growth of broadband intensive applications such as cloud computing, more service providers are looking to increase network capacity to 40G and 100G," said Lars Friedrich, vice-president and general manager in JDSU's communications test and measurement business segment.
The company produces communications test and measurement solutions, specialising in optical products for telecommunications service providers and is presently floated on the US Nasdaq stock exchange.
It has a current share price of $11.47 (£7.80 - June 22nd, 13:11 BST).
