Electrical connectors in the PCI-E form factor are among the specifications of a new power supply unit (PSU) from global components developer Enermax.
The company has detailed the characteristics of its Revolution85+ PSU, which is available to supply either 920 or 1,020 Watts.
Either model comes with two PCI-E 2.0 6+2-pin native electrical connectors, along with four modular connectors of the same type.
Six conventional molex connectors, 12 serial ATA plugs and a floppy disk drive power linkage complete the modular line-up.
Meanwhile, native power connectors also include one 24-pin 12-volt EPS plug, an eight-pin CPU link and a 4+4-pin CPU cable.
"The leading PSU manufacturer again refined and improved the design and has invented a more powerful and reliable topology that requires even less space," the manufacturer asserts.
With four separate 12-volt power rails, over-current protection helps to ensure stability against the risk of surges or spikes in the mains supply.
