Dominant Opto Technologies has announced that its LEDs will be included in an upgrade of Haima's first SUV.
The vehicle was shown at this year's Beijing Auto Show but is now set to include LED lighting fixtures in both the inside and outside of the model, showing that the technology is suitable for multiple needs.
Rear combination lamps will include several LEDs acting in conjunction to provide the required intensity for stop and tail lights, the latter of which uses 12 amber Power DomiLEDs and six amber Primax devices for the brake light.
"Due to the very short switch-on time of LEDs compared to formerly used bulbs such LED brake lights are extending the reaction time for the following motorists helping them to avoid accidents," the firm explained.
Right-angle Dominant LEDs were also recently used in LG's Monitor TV M62D range of high-definition television screens, which makes use of the components' small size and sideways illumination capabilities.
