Samsung has revealed that it has received over three million pre-orders for the new Galaxy S2, wireless communication device manufacturers may be interested to hear.
Indeed, the phone is likely to shatter sales estimates - Samsung was reported to have been expecting sales of ten million units for the handset M, techradar.com has reported.
Samsung officials said on Flickr: "There are quite a few demands in some countries to ask for preferred orders for the supply of Galaxy S II.
"We will do our utmost best to ensure that all the global demands should be met as quickly as possible."
In other news, Motorola has begun selling its new Atrix Android smartphone in the UK.
Some 420 Orange mobile phone stores will initially stock the Froyo 2.2 handset.
It has been confirmed that the network provider will offer the Motorola Atrix for free from £35-a-month with 600 minutes of calltime, 750MB of data and unlimited text messaging.
