Wireless communications device carrier US Cellular has confirmed that it intends to come out with two tablets and eight smartphones before the end of the year.
These new devices include an Android-based LTE smartphone and its first Windows Phone 7 device, wirelessweek.com has reported.
Added to this, the manufacturer said that it hopes to come out with a "wave" of LTE devices in November, though the company did not confirm whether it would begin selling LTE smartphones in November.
HTC has already revealed that it will provide the carrier with four devices beginning this summer.
Elsewhere, Sprint Nextel is set to launch two new devices later this month, the HTC Evo 3D smartphone and the Evo View 4G tablet.
The devices, which were first announced in March, are the follow-up to Sprint's Evo smartphone brand. Sprint Nextel confirmed that the devices will use Clearwire's mobile WiMAX network.
The Evo 3D will be the first smartphone in the US to have a qHD 3D display.
