Wireless communication device users may be interested to learn that Sony Ericsson has delayed the launch of the Xperia Pro smartphone to the end of July.
Initially, Sony Ericsson had hoped to launch the Android-based smartphone in June. The manufacturer had, in fact, even started taking pre-orders for the device.
Recently, however, an article on Mobot confirmed that the firm's web store has changed the launch date of the device to late July.
Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the device boasts a 3.7 inch touchscreen which has a 854 x 480 resolution and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
It also features a slide-out Qwerty keyboard, front camera and a back- facing 8 Mega Pixel camera.
Elsewhere, US Cellular has confirmed that it intends to come out with two tablets and eight smartphones before the end of the year.
These new devices include an Android-based LTE smartphone and its first Windows Phone 7 device, wirelessweek.com has reported.
