Communications consultancy Elemental has suggested that social media platforms allow businesses to get a better sense of the strike rate of their marketing strategies, wireless communication manufacturers may be interested to learn.
According to Tim Gibbon, director at the communications consultancy, social media platforms allow the global reach of brands to create awareness and sell products.
By joining up communications and marketing, Mr Gibbon said firms could get a better sense of whether their interaction with consumers was paying dividends.
"They can unify communications and marketing by creating seamless activity across all of their channels and can be a more measurable way to determine the success of their online communications if they select their metrics and manage their analysis efficiently," he remarked.
An international survey by Proskauer's International Labor & Employment Group has revealed that 76 per cent of companies use social networking for business, wireless communication manufacturers may be interested to learn.
