Employees in the UK have woken up to the flexible working opportunities presented by cloud technologies, wireless communication device users may be interested to learn.
This is according to Intellect, Ian Osborne, project director at the UK's technology trade association, explained that workers have had "a realisation" with respect to the cloud.
"The rail strikes and snow [problems] over the year have given people the realisation that actually you can do a lot of what you do in the office at home, without the hassle of getting there and back," he said.
Research by Virgin Media Business has found there is a huge disconnect between employers and workers when it comes to cloud services in the workplace.
Indeed, six in ten workers are demanding access to cloud services while only one in ten companies currently deploy them.
