Users of the phone are greeted by the world's most popular social network as soon as they turn it on.
The Facebook features include true integrated messaging, meaning your Facebook messages appear alongside your text messages and emails.
Meanwhile, researchers from the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology have claimed that smartphones are taking over some people's lives.
They have identified repetitive and obsessive use of the devices, the Daily Mail has reported.
Indeed, they have established what they call 'checking habits', when users frequently look at the menu screen, emails and contacts list on their handset.
The research team said that a typical check lasts less than 30 seconds.
