One of the biggest benefits of cloud computing lies in the fact that consumers don't have to set up a system themselves.
This is according to Stuart Hibbert, chief executive of icomplete.com, which specialises in bringing big business tools to small businesses.
"So you don't need to actually have your own servers, you don't have to back things up, it's going to be available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week - you pay a small price for some great functionality," he remarked.
"And so all the backing up is all sorted out for you, the security is sorted out - so basically, you can be up and running and using it very, very quickly."
By switching to the cloud, Mr Hibbert observed that you can enhance productivity, explaining: "I know I spend a lot less time these days chasing people up and saying 'what's going on?' because I can see it for myself in real time."
