Consumers are set to see enhanced connectivity with the next generation of smartphones, it has been claimed.
Nikki Moore, founder of girlgeekchic.com, explained that with cloud computing, this development is just around the corner, wireless communication device users will be interested to learn.
"If you subscribe to iCloud and you've got a lot of devices," Ms Moore said, "anything will be accessible from your iPhone to your iPad to your Macbook."
"So I think cloud computing will play a part in it. In terms of connectivity, you'll have access to all your data wherever you are."
Earlier this week, the HP Pre 3 smartphone went on sale in the UK sim-free.
The new handset is set to be offered on contract by mobile carrier Orange.
It features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard - which is increasingly difficult to find on Android-based devices - as well as a five megapixel camera and a 3.6-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
