An IT expert has claimed that the advantages of cloud computing "wildly outweigh" potential risks for the majority of businesses, wireless communication device users may be among those interested to learn.
Joe Drumgoole, the company's founder, observed that concerns about potential risks were "mostly redundant", explaining: "The benefits by and large wildly outweigh the potential risk for most businesses."
Of course, Mr Drumgoole said, if you are "buying and selling multi-billion dollar contracts for large commercial aircrafts, you need to take certain precautions".
"But 95 per cent of today's businesses, what they are concerned with is reducing costs, increasing productivity, getting products to market and accessing more markets."
This comes shortly after 02 suggested that cloud computing can imbue a different dynamic in businesses.
Nicola Mortimer, head of ICT and business development at the mobile company, explained that the cloud also offer employees greater mobility, thereby helping them achieve a better work-life balance.
