Apple has become embroiled in another argument over its use of patents with rival wireless communication device manufacturer Samsung, announcing its intention to block the sale of the new iPhone 4S in France and Italy.
According to the South Korean firm, Apple has used its 3G wireless technology without paying for it.
Over the last few months, the two companies have waged a war in courts around the world.
"Apple has continued to flagrantly violate our intellectual property rights and free ride on our technology, and we will steadfastly protect our intellectual property," Samsung said.
Earlier this week, Apple unveiled the latest product in its iPhone range.
Despite this, the manufacturer kept its eagerly awaited iPhone 5 under wraps, instead unveiling the iPhone 4S.
Due out on October 14th, the new handset boasts an improved camera and significantly extended battery life. It will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB
