Users of Facebook’s long-awaited iPad app have already started reporting minor bugs, wireless communication device owners may be interested to learn.
The news has already prompted some iPad users to suggest that it should have been tested better.
Facebook, for its part, conceded that there were some bugs, but observed that it was not unusual for new products.
Speaking to the BBC, a Facebook spokesperson insisted that all products were always "vigorously" tested before launch.
"However, as with all new technology products, occasionally unexpected bugs will surface once people start using products on a mass scale," he added.
Facebook added that it was "following up on feedback".
In other industry news, Samsung announced recently that it has decided to delay the launch of the Nexus Prime as a mark of respect for Steve Jobs, the former chief executive of Apple.
Samsung said that it would be inappropriate to introduce the new device while technology world is still mourning the loss of Mr Jobs.
