Apple has won the latest round of its ongoing patent dispute with Samsung, with an Australian court temporarily banning the sale of Samsung Electronics' tablet computer in the country.
Currently embroiled in a dispute in nine different countries, Apple has claimed that Samsung copied its touch-screen technology for its Galaxy Tab 10.1, wireless communication device users may wish to know.
The decision will come as a major blow to Samsung, coming shortly before the lucrative Christmas shopping season.
Already, Apple has won a case in Germany, Europe's biggest economy, outlawing the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
In contrasting news, the Samsung Galaxy S2 recently won T3's phone of the year award, overcoming competition from the iPhone 4 and a host of other handsets.
Explaining their decision, the judges said: "Not content with pretty much owning internet search, Google has turned Android into a real threat to Apple's dominance on both mobiles and tablets."
