Samsung Electronics has announced that it is seeking a ban on sales of iPhone4S in Australia and Japan, wireless communication device users may wish to know.
The Korean manufacturer has made similar pleas in France and Italy, protesting at alleged patent infringement by Apple.
In a statement, Samsung Electronics said: "Apple has continued to violate our patent rights and free ride on our technology.
"We will no longer stand idly by and will steadfastly protect our intellectual property."
The two companies have been at loggerheads over alleged patent infringements since April and the bitter row is still being fought in various courts around the world.
Last week in the US, for example, a judge ruled that Samsung's tablets infringed patents owned by Apple.
Despite this, the judge insisted that Apple must prove the validity of those patents in order to win an injunction blocking the sale of Samsung's Galaxy Tab.
