Although Toyota plans to showcase a number of its current and future concept and production cars in Geneva next month, the most intriguing could well be an all-new one merely hinted at in this official design sketch. Dubbed the FT-Bh Concept, it will be an ultra-lightweight full-hybrid city car "intended to achieve low emissions within an economically viable production framework." To that end, Toyota's design team was charged with creating a package that avoided high-cost materials and pricey manufacturing technologies and instead relied on elements and processes that were common in the auto industry.
No other details about the Toyota FT-Bh Concept were released. Despite the "B-car" scaling implied under the automaker's current approach to designating "Future Toyota" products, this hybrid one-off is expected to have smaller-than-subcompact proportions.
