Shooting Marshmallows with the President

8th grader Joey Hudy recently had an opportunity to show President Obama his homemade air cannon as part of the White House's Annual Science Fair. The President seemed very taken with Hudy's invention, and even demonstrated it by shooting a marshmallow across the room. We first met Joey when he visited the element14 booth at MakerFaire Bay Area and assembled our demo kit (see pictures below).
