What is that monster IC?

It’s a 555 timer! I love working with them, but sometimes making them do what you want seems like an towering challenge. It’s like you have to fight them!

The illustration was a rejected cover for a 555 timer book I was putting together.

But now… it’s a captionless comic.

 

I wanted to put it to all you engineers out there… what should the caption be? Put your caption ideas in the comments below!
