Dilbert cartoon unpublished

Recent comments by the creator Scott Adams have given ‘Dilbert’ distributor and book publisher a reason to drop the content.

I was and still am a fan of Dilbert cartoons. If you have worked in technology, the cartoons parody real life. The caricatures don't represent people I have met but the personalities are hard to ignore.

I will miss reading a comic strip and then reflecting on who reflects the prose. I've have seen them slip under people door to see if they get the hint.

Its hard to unsee things once you’ve seen them.   Personally,  I don’t respect anyone that speaks disrespectfully of others in a professional setting.  A podcast broadcasted to the world is a professional setting.   He should of just focused on what he’s good at and what earns him a living and empathize with what most people worry about:  paying the bills and taking care of family.   He has a right to say whatever he wants but he can’t seriously think anyone else would not of been let go for offending a huge number of potential fans.   A company that goes along with that silently endorses his views whether or not that is what they meant to do.   Those that are offended can’t respect a company that turns a blind eye either so the question becomes what audience do you want to keep? The information we have access to is unlike anything we’ve ever known.   People got away with saying offensive things in the past largely because most people weren’t aware.   Its just the world we live in now.

    Isn't that the truth.

It was hard to fathom he was cartooning what was actually happening in my office.

(Can't edit) I have not read a newspaper in years so I've missed comic strips/puzzles (I'll have to download an app one day). The last comic book I read was 'V for Vendetta', which was awesome. I'd like to read the (Italian) Diabolik comic books if I ever came across them and if they were in English! And I have a soft spot for Tintin (and a bit for Asterisk; maybe these are a European thing?) (but have not read them since I was a kid :(
