thanks @dang74! (for some reason mentioning window is not listing your account, even when using Chrome - other accounts are listed but searching returns no results - maybe some indexing problem in portal? but - for example - cstanton can be mentioned correctly)

I was looking at my settings just now and the following was already enabled:

Include in search...
When enabled, you will be able to be found via the Community’s search. If this is disabled, it will also prevent anyone from @ mentioning you in content.

So in theory there should be no restrictions in tagging me.

dang74 It worked for me. Oddly enough, if I just type in @dang, the search box disappears in about one second. If I type the 7 right away, you come up. I think it's a "politeness filter" that is causing the confusion.

confirmed kmikemoo - one should type dang74 fast or search box disappears after dang
