Check out the latest survey: Farnell Global IoT Survey and Competition 2020

Calling all IoT solution design engineers and hobbyists!

Please fill in this survey, which is open from 18th September to 4th December 2019.

We are looking to find out what you are working on. By enhancing our understanding of the market areas, design requirements and new trends in IoT, we can meet your needs and ensure we can support IoT product designs now and in the future. We want to know what technologies you are using for your IoT designs and what kind of applications you are working on at the moment.

Survey participants* can enter a prize draw with the opportunity to win:

  • An iPad pro (one winner)
  • A choice between a £250 Amazon gift card (or local currency equivalent) OR a drone of similar value (three winners)
  • £50 Farnell voucher (or local currency equivalent) to spend on the Farnell website for EMEA and APAC winners, or a $63 Amazon gift card for NA winner (six winners in total)

We will publish the results in February 2020.

Took the survey, although it is not really designed for individuals such as me (retired, so not commercially active). I didn't enter the prize draw as they are not my thing. I did like the IoTHub that…

Hi Douglas, Sorry about that. This has to do with local laws in regards to prize draws. Legal team signed off only the countries outlined in T&Cs due to local laws being different in each country. There…

It must be difficult to design a survey... but... lol... I did think it seemed poorly designed from my point of view, in terms of thinking how to answer it. As a hobbyist I have gone a long way to implementing…

You are welcome Luigi! The survey is open until the 4th of December 2019, so you can still take it and let us know your opinions on IoT. As a matter of fact, I think last year a couple of Italians took…

Hi Clem, I've responded below so that other members can see the response too. We've taken on-board your feedback and there should be no exclusion list for vouchers. Therefore, should you be one of the lucky winners for a Farnell voucher you should be able to use the code.
