Summer is around the corner. I'm hoping for a summer of sunny days and warm weather. What are you planning for this summer? For myself, I'm attending the Sensors Converge Conference in San Jose, CA, June 27-29, 2022. The conference will feature a lot of education and training opportunities, focusing on the building blocks of IoT convergence - sensors, processing, and connectivity. You'll learn the biggest design engineering trends, too. It should be a great three days.
Element14 Introduces Summer of Sensors and a Sensors-Focused Design Challenge
element14 is introducing our Summer of Sensors program, which will be packed full of roadtests, tech spotlights, Essentials, webinars, and more. They're all about sensors! We will also be announcing our Summer of Sensors Design Challenge. This one is unique: its a multi-supplier competition, and offers some fantastic prizes.
I'll be at the AVNET booth (#318) answering questions about the element14 community and Summer of Sensors. If you are attending the conference, please stop by Booth 318. I would enjoy meeting any element14 members "live."
AVNET's Express Connect Live Training Workshops
AVNET will give a presentation on its Express Connect Tool which provides developers and non-programmers alike with the ability to deploy combinations of connected IoT solutions.
AVNET will also be doing some interesting training workshops, which should interest all the attendees. They're called:
- Prototyping Secure Sensor Applications Using Click Boards and the Azure Sphere Starter Kit
- Enhancing an Embedded Sensor Application with a Custom Voice Command Interface
Sensors Converge Has Nine Tech Tracks
Sensors Converge will offer sessions through nine tracks:
- 5G Connectivity
- Agriculture Sensing & Technology – NEW!
- Environmental Sensing & Sustainability – NEW!
- Industrial & Manufacturing
- Interoperability & Standards
- IoT
