One other reason I don't apply is I've already road tested something in the same category. It seems unfair to go after another instrument if I can make do with the one I have.

I agree. If I were in your place, I'd do exactly the same thing. So, I kind of interpret your statement as one of need. Basically, you have something already and you don't need something similar again. Thanks. This is helpful.
