Hi all,
I lucked out on Monday.
The day opened with full sunshine and warm temperatures.
As the time neared, we had some high altitude cirrus clouds, but visibility was still good, so I drug out my telescope and set it up.
I invited some of the neighbors over so they could see the moon slowly cover the sun blocking out sunspots along the way.
Totality hit and was an awesome sight. The light dimmed so much that my tulips folded up thinking it was dusk.
Since I was on the edge of the full eclipse zone, we only had about one minute of totality, but all in all, it was a tremendous experience.
