Hey everyone! I work for element14, so I'm not participating in the Secret Santa competition, but I thought I'd write a blog to kick things off!
Please check out our 2021 Secret Santa Giveaway and submit a blog of your own to participate in the giveaway!
Everything is getting smaller and more tightly packed. If we want to modify or repair anything, in addition to squinting, we need a nice set of tools that enable us to work with tiny components. Things like needle nose pliers, magnifying glasses and my gift to the community, a nice set of tweezers!

When used with electronics, tweezers should be Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safe. That way, they don't generate their own charge while you're working, potentially damaging components on the board.
For a long time, I relied solely on my needle-nosed pliers for pretty much everything, but now that I have tweezers, they're pretty much always in hand.
