[NEW] We're Improving the element14 Community Site & Need Your Help!

Hi everyone! 

We’re currently working on improving how the element14 Community is organised so it’s easier to find projects, challenges, learning resources, manufacturers, and everything else you need.

To make the right improvements, we’re running several research activities, and you can take part in any or all of them. 

Survey

We’d love to hear about your experience as a returning member:

  • What brings you back

  • What’s easy or hard to find

  • What feels valuable

  • What feels confusing or overwhelming

  • What you’d change if you could

Interview 

We’re looking to have deeper conversations about:

  • How you navigate the site

  • What feels hidden or hard to find

  • What makes the community feel valuable

  • What we could improve for returning users

Time: 45 minutes at a time that suits you

Incentive (if selected): £25 Amazon voucher

Only a limited number of interview slots are available, and we’ll contact selected volunteers via email.

Card Sorting Study

We’re also running a short card sorting activity where you’ll group different types of content into categories that make sense to you.
This helps us rebuild the site structure in a way that feels natural for real users.

Time required: 10 - 15 minutes
