The typical attire worn by a phone interviewee is often enough some variation of the outfit above.
Does wearing pajamas or loungewear change how one presents themselves during a phone interview? Similar to how it is recommended to stand during important calls to convey a bit more energy while speaking, perhaps the clothes change our demeanor in the same way.
It is like the old chiche:
If the rule demands dressing for the job you want, with no one around, does it matter?
