Hi Cabe,
Yes, the background noise is a nuisance...
A few years ago i started to generate embedded code on the job. I was the only one involved in that task and it drew a substantial amount of (unwanted) attention. In the end i decided that the better place for generation code was my home workshop (well equipped I might add ;-) ). Luckily the management did not object to the idea that I was out of office for days in a row. There are plenty communication means available to stay in touch with the projectteam (cellphone, e-mail).
People are sometimes unsensitive (missing gene?) for the fact that others might have a difficult task while they are in the eye of the tornado....
Best regards, Enrico Migchels
Byetheway; interesting post!
