How many different certifications have you received on your career path, and have they benefitted you in the process?
And to an embedded engineer, what certifications will be the most financially beneficial, and which ones are the most intellectually beneficial?
This comes off of a talk with a engineer friend of mine that holds many different "certs" that don't seem to have changed his life any, except for giving him more work to do. He just doesn't seem happy.
