Not sure I could pin down an exact playlist, I'll listen to anything (One or two excepts with genres like rap). My playlists have been ranging from Yo-Yo Ma to GSY!BE and British Sea Power to Mindless Self Indulgence. I must admit a guilty pleasure recently has been a touch of Lady Gaga for some reason.
Vast majority of the time I cannot work properly without music. I can cope without it, but I lose that natural rhythm of getting things working and lose concentration more. Last 10 artists that stick out that have been on my playlists this week are:
May be that one morning and completely different in the afternoon. Makes for some interesting looks when people ask what the music is thats for sure. Depending on how I'm listening to music (MP3 player, CD, stream etc), I do keep track of it on Last.fm, anyone else use it?

I used to use a music streaming site..can't even remember what it is called now. You typed in a couple of bands you liked and it picked music based on your preferences. Then it stopped working out side the US and I never went back.
I don't listen to much now, bit of music here or there if a mate sends a tack to listen to, or a playlist on youtube if I feel like it
Good call on British Sea Power, John. I used to listen to their first CD quite a lot when I lived in London. They were playing in leeds a few weeks back, and I meant to go, but had other stuff on....
Thinking of Pandora?
They are a great band, worth checking out their other albums, and indeed the recently announced tour dates for next year. http://www.britishseapower.co.uk/ for anyone not aware of them.
To be honest I was thinking of a guy who came from the western Isles and played all the music himself.. I saw BSP were an actual band and edited.
If you remember who it was, post it, you've got me intrigued now!
