Which learning method provides you with the best knowledge retention?
I am interested to know if techies thrive on different methods than non-techies.
All of the above if it includes 'hands-on'. Only if I do stuff myself, I really learn what I am doing.
Also, explaining something you think you understand to somebody else.

I seem to recall Richard Feynman, an American theoretical physicist, had a similar understanding. When you can explain something to someone you have truly learned it.
