Greetings Members!
We are in the planning stages of a virtual panel that will focus on ADAS and Driver Motor Systems. This webinar could explore new features being offered in the automotive cabin, including Driver Monitoring Systems, Head-up Displays, Occupant Monitor Systems, Gesture Recognition, and More. The idea is to have a virtual panel discussion with a panel of experts to discuss the latest in automotive innovation.
This could include anything from what's happening in advanced driver assistance system development to the ever evolving future of truly autonomous vehicles. When I was at CES a couple of year ago, this was one of the things that people were excited about most. Recently, we launched a Photonics competition on Project14 which discussed among other things automotive, and discussed how this topic is shaping developments in the automotive industry.
This proposed panel will touch on those subjects and will also discuss enabling technologies such as AI-based processing methods for Forward Camera perception; 4D Imaging RADAR; driver-assisted systems including LiDAR, RADAR, and Camera Systems; and in-vehicle driver and occupant monitoring systems.
We are currently exploring who would be best to invite to host this webinar. Are there any experts on the community that would like to join the panel? Maybe even you? Does anyone know someone that you would like to get invited to this panel? I haven't seen a whole lot of activity around this, and its too early to tell if we'll get any projects around this during the Photonics competition (although that would be really cool!)
Let me know your thoughts! It would be huge help and it would help make this a worthwhile event by connecting us to the right people to get in touch with!
