I caught my son chewing on electrical cords.

I had to ground him.

He is doing better currently, and now conducting himself properly.

    That is shocking, but it is just a phase he is going through.

    Don't take any static, but don't hit him - you could be charged with battery. Another way to learn about shocks is to wear shorts.

    Thank goodness for that, because the more they resist the more heated the situation gets.

    If nothing can switch him from this behavior, I suggest at least to isolate him to avoid unwanted connections.
