I loved the way most of the construction was carried out in his house, with nice carpets and sofa - but was pleased to see him move outside for the actual experiments.
I like to see people do things like this, assuming they take measures to ensure safety of themselves and others and don't needlessly trash/pollute the environment. I find a lot can be learnt and of course it costs me nothing and there is no personal risk. For this video the easy message was, a fuse won't blow at the rated current but needs a considerable amount more, and as shown several attempts plus the sand removed . Safety-wise note the perspex screens behind the capacitors and the rubber matting and safety footwear !
Personally I think I'll leave this as a "Don't try this at home"
