In the UK we also have COLINFURZE - Home who also takes his experimentation to the extreme so you don't have to . And similar to your comment, whilst I love watching him I'm quite glad I don't live next door - a couple of houses away however would be great as I could chat and share ideas.

DAB You are SO right. I've watched a few other episodes now. The 20,000 watt light bulb where he lights up the neighborhood and then announces stuff over a loudspeaker made me think the same thing. Cool to watch - on YouTube. Not so cool on the other side of the fence.

phoenixcomm That is FANTASTIC! I've bookmarked it to share with my technicians. I saw it happen live once during a transformer lab (practical exercise) during training. Of course... the meter wasn't rated for the 13.8kV the guy backfed into it.

It's a good thing he moved outdoors! Some of those fireballs were huge. I really expected that when he put the steel wool in the fuse body that it would launch out like a flaming ball.

I read the comments before I watched the video - was expecting to be nominating him for the Darwin Awards.
