If you've never seen photonic induction's channel before, he has a lot of videos involving very high power equipment, and usually destroys it.

It's a good thing he moved outdoors! Some of those fireballs were huge. I really expected that when he put the steel wool in the fuse body that it would launch out like a flaming ball.

Crazy stuff . Interesting to see the construction with the parallel fuses. Reminds me of a practical joke a friend would do using different value resistors in parallel. You could get them to blow in sequence…

I loved the way most of the construction was carried out in his house, with nice carpets and sofa - but was pleased to see him move outside for the actual experiments.

I  like to see people do things like this, assuming they take measures to ensure safety of themselves and others and don't needlessly trash/pollute the environment. I find a lot can be learnt and of course it costs me nothing and there is no personal risk. For this video the easy message was, a fuse won't blow at the rated current but needs a considerable amount more, and as shown several attempts plus the sand removed image. Safety-wise note the perspex screens behind the capacitors and the rubber matting and safety footwear !

Personally I think I'll leave this as a "Don't try this at home"
