Got my Raspberry Pi a while ago.... Very impressive little unit... Wish Element would supply better heat sinks, I didn't like the ones in catalog.... Got an Arduino Uno and hooked up RPi and proves to be a good combo... I have the Piface but haven't tried it yet, waiting for me to get a better workstation so I can connect to the breadboards.... I surf the net with it and is very impressive with the WiPi dongle.... I also have the BeagleBone Black.... No, didn't try that yet, afraid to cus might spoil me.... Gotta get another mini kybd and a Dell monitor... RPi has an impressive Dell Genesis hooked to it by HDMI and is flawless.... Very good video response.... I got the monitor at a ReUse center for $30.... Tried to get another, ppl been ahead of me, he hee.... I wasn't fast enuf.... I use powered USB port and is really beneficial and powers the Uno well.... I had to add slots in the Multicomp case... The ventilation is much better now.... I may make my own heatsinks out of the tiny ones that go on transistors, I still have some of the white paste transfer to sink... I wish the RPi had launched back in the '80s.... I wudda avoided MS completely..... he hee.... Used to have NCR DM5s.... Very prepriority units.... Learned to type on a Tandy one in Moby ***.... Almost got to 90 words a min.... But then got lazy... One time didn't want to take my laptop to an offsite work site and took the monitor and RPi then set up in hotel.... he hee... manager comes in and questioned me if I wus hacking.... naw... just playing.... didn't beleive me but demostrated to him and was impressed.... Hotel wifi worked real well with the WiPi.... It was fast.... Gunna play with RPi and Uno now... C ya later.....
