Hello,
An introduction, huh. Well, I was "into" electronics in high school. I even intended and started a degree in Electrical Engineering at the U of M, Minneapolis. However, my computer science requirements refocused my energy. After a reboot and a different university, MSU, Mankato, I'm now am a "web programmer" at that same university. My formative years introduced me to Z80, 8080, MIDI, ham radio, and Linux (at version 0.12). I consider myself an open protocols, open hardware and open source advocate. I stumbled into Raspberry Pi and Arduino in the last couple of years and am shocked at the changes in power, cost and accessibility to electronics since the 80s. I suppose I shouldn't be. But now I'm re-interested in electronics and have some catching up to do.
