Anyone know what this is please?

The lettering says S.P.14110- R&S It's aluminium The dark band round it is a circlip I'm guessing the R&S is Rohde and Schwarz.

Based on the parts and patterns in the parts, it looks to be some sort of cable clamp / joiner, the patterns on the inner parts are an exact match to steel cable / rope, I dont think it has anything to do with Electronics for sure with the exceptoion of perhas an antena guide rope / support thingy

It might be a phone or power wire balancing weight.

It looks like it could clip onto a wire to prevent them oscillating in the wind or to break up ice formation.

Clearly a mystery that needs investigating.
