Hey,
I'm looking for info on an old transistor I pulled out an old CB radio. Just curious really. It was labeled TRnnn on the PCB (don't recall the number). All the transistors are labeled TRnnn where the nnn is a sequential number of the transistor used in the circuit. This transistor has a metal case and FOUR leads. The four leads got me curious. I thought maybe one of the leads just grounds the metal case. I was looking at packaging types and found this TO-33 case type.
It has four leads. The example shows a darlington pair with two different base inputs. Maybe that is what this is?
I searched a few datasheets sites but no luck. I sure it has been discontinued long ago.
Any ideas suggestions on where to look. thanks
