udraw tablet modification?

Hello.

i recently got curious and took my old Udraw gametablet made for xbox360 and got it working on my computer because i wanted a drawing tablet and dont got enough money for wacom etc

but i shifted gears for it and thought about its design being close to a DS or 3DS kind of layout

so all i am curious about is if anyone can tell me if its possible to modify the tablet in anyway to add at least a right and left trigger. i am willing to get a ps3 version etc. but because theres not many good controllers i am aware of for the purpose of DS games.

i know there is

-internal accelerometers

-the touch pad can be used with its stylus and normal touchpad.

-the stylus has pressure sensor in it to recognize when you use it.

if possible to be able to add two triggers would make it a lot easier to use in games requiring them. along with keeping the touch pad.

and a easy modfication i can think of is to replace the compartment requiring 3 AA batteries with a usb rechargeable circuit with propper battery and mod the case to recharge it.

to sum it up incase i want to try and modify it to do so. or very least have a understanding of how to recreate the idea into a homemade controller.

I'm doing a similar thing, but I'm using a Wii Udraw tablet. it uses the Wii remote in it, so I do have a shoulder button as well as all the other buttons on the Wii Remote.

link to software for all the Udraw tablets:

you're able to map the buttons however you want, so I definitely recommend this. I got my Udraw tablet from a thrift store for 4$, so this is definitely cost efficient. image I just have to get used to drawing with this thing.

I hadn't thought to try to use it on a DS game... now I'm gonna fire up my emulator and see how it goes
