Device: LCD (16x2) with ESP8266 WiFi Chip
I figured out the Breadboard version using NodeMCU, LCD with I2C Module using this link
https://www.losant.com/blog/how-to-connect-lcd-esp8266-nodemcu
Now, I need to make a "device". So I figure I need to
1. Create a schematic
2. Create a PCB
3. Solder the components onto PCB
4. Build a casing and encase the soldered board
But then..
1. Will NodeMCU kit (which is suitable for breadboard) work for PCB?
2. And, if it works, should I use that or break it into individual components and put on board?
3. Breadboard was fine. I dont know how to make schematic design. How to find individuals/companies which can help in designing?
3. When I need to make these devices in hundreds, which type of companies/individuals/vendors should I be looking for?
4. How do you make the casing around the board?
5. Anything else I need to be aware of?
I am based in India and but I can relate to your references and look for similar companies/startups/freelancers in India to work with if you give reference in your region. Also, if there are global providers you worked with that would be great.
Any journey/online article of this journey from a breadboard project to finished product would be invaluable at this point.
Thank you all!
