When I want to write a blog, I sometimes wonder where to post it.
I also learned that e14 is trying to consolidate/reduce the number of groups, moving posts into the more frequented ones (I think you are doing that, cstanton ?).
Would it be possible to put up a list of preferred groups for posting content?
There are literally hundreds of groups, some I wasn't even aware of that existed. I'm not in the best position to give you a guidance on this at the moment.
The more highlighted groups are those from the 'drop down' menu at the top of the website when you're browsing on a desktop computer.
Any others you can mostly tell by how recent content was created in the group, though there are some which go against this and are often viewed frequently even though the content is older
