Ideas on Secret door opener

Former Member over 10 years ago

I am new to this world, but am very interested in making my own projects. My co worker wants to make a panel with maybe 6 buttons. Each button will open a secret door in the house. I'm trying to figure out the best way to make this work. I was imagining using pinball type buttons, and some sort of mechanism ( like a pinball kicker ) to pop open a door. I'm thinking there is a better way, and am looking for any help with a parts list. I'll update here as I get things done. Its going to be controlled from behind the bar, and the doors will be out in the room. ( I'm imagining light weight doors, like cabinet style )
