Username

Hi,

I have two questions as a newbie.

1. I want to change username. Is it possible if i can change for element14?

I looked for it in website but cannot find the option.

2. Element14 and element14 community are they different and seperate from each other. Why you need 2 accounts for each. Cant you use just one ?

forgot to mention, Element14.com and Element14.com/community are the same and you only need one account are you thinking of the store front Newark / Farnel ? in which case yes this uses a different identity…

Element14.com and Element14.com/community are the same not in every case. For NZ element14 redirects to nz.element14.com (i presume AUS redirects also to element14.com.au or similar) Mark

Your logon name is imutable so no you can not change it sorry

But on the bright side you only have accumilated 130 points so delete the account and create a new one. It would take only a few minutes to re-gain those points as there are plenty of easy to get badges that will recover them for you

are you thinking of the store front Newark / Farnel ? in which case yes this uses a different identity management system and is a seperate account used to buy things on the store. nothing to stop you creating the same user name on both but there not shared to my knowledge (assuming it is not taken on them)

where money is involved there are much tighter controls of course.
