'Recent Activity' and its location

cstanton

While we're working on how best to present 'recent activity' on the site, I have reinstated a section of the user profile called 'Activity'.

The Community Team had initially removed this section because we felt it was somewhat confusing, why would you have 'activity' in the user profile when it wasn't fully customised to be that user's activity? Sure, it does show that to some extent, but it also shows additional activity across the site.

Removing this outright was likely a bad idea.

So for the purpose of user feedback and because this type of functionality is requested, it's reinstated.

You'll find it as a tab on your user profile, and on other user's profiles:

Let me know how you feel about it, we don't have a lot of options right now in customising it.

It could be that RoadTest activity as a custom content type doesn't push its activity into the feed properly, Dudley should be able to look this up to confirm.

I like! The option enables me to use my own bread crumbs to find stuff. Well, at least now I can confirm it wasn't a figment of my imagination:) Thanks for the response E14 Community support.

cstanton, heads up that this doesn't catch all user activity.
I replied to a road test review I did earlier..
